EasyFolios
EasyFolios includes three types of portfolios -
- Program portfolio
- Class portfolios
- Student portfolios
Teachers access their classroom portfolio using a secure username and password login. Directors use their username and password to access the program portfolio. In addition, directors can also access, review and edit content in all the classroom portfolios. During the Assessor site visit, the Director gives the Assessor their username and password to review the program and classroom portfolios.
In addition to the classroom portfolios, teachers can also create their student roster and save content directly into individual student portfolios. The student portfolios automatically move with the child as he/she moves from class to class.
There are three types of content that can be entered into the portfolios - Text, PhotoBoards(TM) and FileManager.
- Text - this format is the most commonly used and includes all the 'notes' that directors and teachers enter into their portfolios
- PhotoBoards (TM) - this format includes easy-to-use templates where photos and texts can be combined to document the various portfolio requirements. (note: if needed the photos can be replaced with scanned images).
- FileManager - this format includes popular file formats (eg, .doc, .pdf, .xls, .txt, etc) that represents documentation work that has already been done at the school. Directors and teachers are able to eliminate rework by loading their existing files into portfolios and classifying it with NAEYC Standards and Criteria.
Teachers and directors can review realtime portfolio status reports to track their progress. The portfolio status reports are interactive and help teachers easily identify areas of attention without having to shuffle through hours of paperwork.
The EasyFolio help and support page provides a portal to topic-oriented software usability assistance. In addition to the self support options, teachers and directors can email support@portfoliomyday.com for technical support.
